Following the success and high turnout at the recent Open Afternoon, Small-Life Supplies is holding another one, on Sunday 6th Dec 2009 between 2pm and 6pm. Once again, there is no need to book in advance, just turn up. Let's hope there won't be another power cut this time! All are welcome; there are plenty of interesting creatures to see including Giant African Land Snails, 32cm long Australian Titan stick insects, the leafy-looking Australian Macleays stick insects (featured in this week's OK magazine with Katie Price) and praying mantises. There'll be free refreshments. Small-Life Supplies is on Station Road in Bottesford, actually in the building on the train platform. Well its good to see another free event - especially one with free cakes! And very tasty they were too! I can recommend the Small-Life Supplies open days.
