WHERE TO EAT??

Unfortunately some good restaurants have closed recently. In Grantham, Sakuras closed a while back and just the other week or so, Luxury Polyester closed it doors , re-opening under new ownership into Viennas. What fate beholds the restaurants in Bottesford??

I can recommend "Cappuccinos" in the The George shopping centre. They do really terrific home-made Christmas cake. The coffee is pretty good too, and good value. Their "small" is as big as what most other cafés call "large" and is only £1.85.

I see that "Viennas" has now morphed into the lap dancing club "Secrets", mores the pity. I too can recommend "Cappucinnos" , although perhaps a wider range of newspapers would be appreciated, not everyone wnats to read the Sun and the Mirror and the Grantham Journal! Bottesford's cafe looks empty most of the time; I wasn't impressed when I stopped for a coffee there.

Unfortunately the Rutland Cafe on Bottesford High Street has closed down. I wonder what will open there next?

The Rutland Cafe has only closed temporarily, I think it will be reopening as a cafe and take away opening later in the evening
